Michelle graduated from Idaho State University in 1993 with a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education and a Bachelor of Science; Speech Pathology and Audiology. She taught several grade levels of children, teens, and adults with various degrees of abilities prior to home schooling her children for 8 years. She currently teaches at an area High School part time.
In 2014 Michelle graduated from Broadview University with honors taking additional courses in Oncology Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral, and Reike. She completed research in how massage impacts children suffering from Osteosarcoma and a case series of myofascial release followed by manual lymphatic drainage in clients with ALS presenting with secondary edema. Michelle completed her externship at Idaho Spine and Sports working with clients with edema, providing manual lymphatic drainage. During externship, she was able to work with pediatric clients with severe muscular contractions assisting them through myofascial release. Michelle provided massage therapy at Massage Central for 2 1/2 years and at Idaho Pediatric Clinic for 1 1/2 years.
Michelle opened her own space March of 2017. She works to bring oncology massage classes to the Treasure Valley Area. Michelle currently volunteers for American Cancer Society as the Youth Champion for Meridian Area.. She enjoys biking, camping, teaching, and spending time with family and friends.
